ACL Bugs

Importing a numeric field from an Oracle database that contains numbers with and without a decimal point, get defined in ACL as Numeric.  Numbers that do not have a decimal point in the data, will be interpreted incorrectly in ACL.

A workaround to this problem is to manually change the type from Numeric to Print.

Another workaround is to request from the ACL Support Team the ACLODBC.DLL from ACL 9.0.3.

To do this:

  • Contact ACL to request the ACLODBC.DLL for ACL 9.0.3 from Support.
  • Once you receive the ACLODBC.DLL, in the folder where ACL is installed, please rename the current ACLODBC.DLL to ACLODBC.DLL.BAK
  • Rename the file provided by ACL Support to ACLODBC.DLL and copy it into the folder where ACL is installed.
  • Re-start ACL.
